George Apostolou is the founding Principal of FinHealth Private. He has been dedicated to serving his clients’ financial needs for twenty years. Beginning his career at NAB Financial Planning in 2004, he worked with various clients during those 10 years, as he progressed to Senior Financial Planner position within NAB Health, providing tailored financial advice to medical specialists.
In 2014, he moved to Perpetual Private and continued to focus on working with medical specialists and high net wealth clients. In 2020, during COVID 19, he abandoned the corporate advisory model and became a self-employed adviser, focussing his attention on High Net Wealth Clients. These clients include successful business owners and their families, medical specialists, senior executives, and self-funded retirees to name a few.
His vision is to provide objective guidance to investors seeking advice about their financial situations and to do so with the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and overall excellence possible, to provide quality and courteous service – at a reasonable price.
George believes that everyone should have access to institutional quality investment advice, and he has dedicated his career in helping individuals, families, business owners and trusts to enhance and preserve their wealth. He works with his clients to overcome the complexities of managing their financial lives, retire comfortably, and leave a meaningful legacy through a comprehensive planning approach.
His comprehensive approach is guided by a deep understanding of each client’s goals, objectives, and risk tolerances, which are used to craft a unique ‘game plan’. In practice, this often results in the creation of a complete financial plan, retirement analysis, and customised asset allocation. He surrounds himself with other “like-minded professionals” to offer a complete professional services solution for his clients. These other services include lending solutions, estate planning, insurance needs, and philanthropic solutions.
He takes great pride in working with clients in structuring their financial affairs while providing clear and easy to understand explanations of financial options.
He develops strategies that address their goals and challenges at any stage of life and spends the time to really listen to what they need.

He will prioritize financial education to help preserve your values as the wealth transfers from one generation to the next. Today, George continues to provide the highest level of personal service by accepting a limited number of clients each year. He views this as a partnership designed around the client and their family. His mission is to make their vision for the future achievable in simple steps – whatever that may be.
